Universities - University of Tampere

The research areas of the University of Tampere represented in the University Consortium of Seinäjoki are medicine, nursing and innovation environments.  In adult education the fields are the development of work organisations, education in social and health care and teaching and the open university.  The fields of development work are information net technologies.  The incumbents of three professorial posts of the University of Tampere operate at Seinäjoki:  those in laboratory medicine, general medicine and innovation.  The University of Tampere is the co-ordinator of the operations of the University Consortium.
