Universities - Sibelius Academy

The Sibelius Academy is the only artistic higher education institution represented in Seinäjoki, and its activities include concerts and festivals.  The fields represented at the University Consortium of Seinäjoki are rhythm music, music technology, auditive media and music history.  In adult education the fields are rhythmic music and orchestral conducting.  The incumbent of the joint professorial post of the Sibelius Academy and the University of Tampere operates at the University Consortium.
